Blue Rivers Area Agency on Aging provides light housekeeping and chore services for seniors aged 60 and older, enabling older adults to maintain their homes by assisting with everyday tasks.

Light Housekeeping Services for Seniors

We are not a full housekeeping service, but we can help with simple housekeeping tasks such as:

Dusting, vacuuming, cleaning floors, taking out trash, clean the bathroom, clean the kitchen, laundry, make beds, wash dishes, shop for essential groceries, and light meal preparation.

*Clients are responsible for providing their own cleaning supplies.

Chore Services for Seniors

We are not a full landscaping business, but we can assist with tasks, such as yard work or snow removal.

*Clients are responsible for providing their own ice melt.

To be eligible for Housekeeping and/or Chore services, recipients must be age 60 or older. A Care Manager from Blue Rivers AAA will be assigned to the client, taking into consideration their ability to perform tasks, to determine eligibility.

Our goal is to assist seniors 60 and over to maintain their home and remain independent by assisting with tasks they might not be able to perform on their own, keeping them aging well in place.
